 December 4, 1994 I have known Randy for almost 14 years. During that time I have related to Randy on a number of capacities. In 1982 we became partners for almost a year, We were both videographers / directors for CBN. Not long afterwards I became his supervisor and was responsible for all of his evaluations for the next 8 years. During my 34 years in broadcasting, I have known few people as loyal and honest as Randy thornton. Randy has been a remote (;location) videograhper since 1981. In that capacity he must be all things to all people. He his responsible for lighting, audop, aesthetic feel, and interpretation of the producers script, experienced travel agent as well as the ultimate end result of the video. He must have the ability to work closely with his fellow workers, amature and professional talent, and a variety of producers of varying degrees of experience. He must at the same time, keep in mind the limitations set upon him by cost and time, especially airline schedule. deadlines are part of the job. Randy is an accomplished senior videographer that can write, produce and edit as the need maybe. He is not an engineer, he is a productions person.
